My name is Elizabeth. And
I can teach you how to be
successful working at
home.
ABCs of Computing at Home
Work at Home
Level #1 of Success
On a personal level, success has enabled me the freedom to
work at home with a flexible schedule, so I can be the kind of wife
and mother I want to be. And just for the record, I am not trying to
sell you anything, but I do hope you will read on..........
I haven't worked a traditional job in 10 years. In 1998 I was
disabled after having a number of strokes. Coming back to some
semblance of normality was the most difficult thing I ever had to
do. I managed to get a degree from a four-year university, but still
couldn't find a job that would pay me enough to leave the house
and get off disability. Then I purchased two of those online work-
at-home schemes. And that is what I got, scammed. That left me
in somewhat a dilemma. I still needed a job. And my family was
breathing down my neck, so were bill collectors. I needed a new
plan.
New Plan
I needed to work smarter, not harder. You hear that all the time,
but it's true. I had nearly $21,000 in student loans to pay off, credit
cards, and a car loan, not to mention rising prices. At minimum
wage, that would take me into retirement age. I was beyond the
point where I perform manual occupations. So I didn't feel I had
much choice in the matter.I began searching the local papers and
the Internet for jobs. And like I said, I purchased two scams. Then
I had an epiphany. I realized what I had been looking at. I told
myself I could do this. It would take some time, because we didn't
have much to invest, but I could do it. Millions of websites are
filled with topics that people are either experts in or have a special
interest in. Then, it came to me. Their niche sites were serving
two purposes, one of information and the other of income. Their
sites hosted information on specific topics, useful hints or tips,
but it was the advertising placed on their sites that generated an
income.
Again, work smarter, not harder. This info publishing intrigued
me. I didn’t really know if I wanted to tell my life story, but I did
want to help others in my position and I did need a new source of
income. It was the perfect solution. I could continue to work, but at
home, bring in a necessary income, and help others. How could I
lose?
The Creation of an New Informative Website
After much deliberation, I decided to give it a try . . . and I was
passionate and knowledgeable (life is the best experience, aside
from a good formal education)!
After a lot of research, I chose the suite of website building tools,
because it was easy to use and had a track record of helping its
users build websites with a high level of success. Then I began
to compile the information I believed would have been beneficial
to me in the beginning.
Freedom At Last
I work on my site whenever I can. I love having the freedom to do
what I want to do. I have the liberty to arrange my day to suit my
needs instead of a bosses or my brother (no offense). I don’t
have to get up at 6:00 am, put on my uniform and face bumper-to-
bumper traffic only to have someone without insurance ram the
side of my car (it happened).
I have more time to spend with my son, who's now in the Army,
and with my dad. I can go spend the day with him (whenever he
has the free time) and enjoy our afternoon without worries.
I didn't find my dream job. I created that by myself but you don’t
have to. I learned to work smarter, not harder.
I treasure the time I have with my family, especially my son,
especially in these perilous times. I think he enjoys it, too. I finally
have the lifestyle I dreamed of for so long, and it was in front of
me the whole time.
My Work Day
I begin my workday by sitting on the patio in the morning, with a
hot cup of green tea (my favorite) and a pad, brainstorming with
my husband on how to improve our websites. It’s the best office I
have, although I have a real one upstairs. I designed the patio
and garden myself. The patio and garden are quite, like you live in
the country, except we live in the city with several thousand cars
passing each week. You can’t hear the noise because of how it is
landscaped. There is a quaint little pond with gold fish, it is
surrounded by apple and cherry trees that have begun to produce
fruit, along with bananas, grapes, kiwi, muscadines, blackberries,
raspberries, and blueberries. There are fragrant roses, lavender,
gardenias, and jasmine climbing the archway along the walkway.
Ornamental grasses line the faux stream that runs the
length of the garden. There are more than 100 varieties of fruits,
spices, herbs, and flowers in the garden, including pond flowers.
We have a resident toad that irritates the dogs with his croaking
during the spring. There is shade during the summer and a fire
pit to keep us warm at night. And the best part is you don’t have to
wear a uniform or suit, just casual clothes and slippers.
My favorite part: Just close your eyes and savor the moment, the
birds are chirping, the smell of roses, jasmine, gardenias and
lavender, with a cool breeze blowing across your bare legs and
face. I’m so grateful I have the time to enjoy life and all the
unexpected precious moments – the kind you miss when you’re
at working downtown.
I am fortunate that I am able to experience the milestones in my
family's lives. My son will be graduating from the Army, and my
niece will be graduating from high school this year. If I were
working, I would have to get permission to take the time off for
both occasions.
This type of success that can’t be measured.
My 2nd Level of Success
My second level of success can actually be measured. It’s an
achievement I couldn’t have imagined was possible with any type
of business, 7-3 or Internet:
Camouflage Site has gradually grown into a very popular site on
the web for information. The majority of people who open a
website and provide information get very few hits. I have a couple
of other sites, too.
My websites has a very higher traffic ranking compared to other
websites with similar topics (even those who sell the information).
How Did I Do It?
How is it possible for a website that's operated by a disabled
woman who works from a lounge chair in her garden or her desk
in her home office achieve that kind of success? I won't give you
some bogus testimonials that anyone can simply type in
themselves. Make up your own mind. If you decide to try, just
email me and I will provide the information free! That's right, free.
Why? Remember I got scammed. Other websites charge for this
information (and still don't tell you anything), but as a mother and
a member of the disabled community I would like to see you
succeed with as little start up costs as possible.
