Where I used to live on the lake it was not unusual to see a family of deer standing
on the side of the road, but you had to be quick. I am always in awe of their beauty.
Hunter's see them in a different light, of their scope. Well, it was getting late fall and
they were all over the roads. People were complaining that they had hit another one
and had messed up their truck again. I guess they can't read the Watch Out for Deer
signs. Anyway, I used to have this friend that was a little out there if you know what I
mean. He had been up for several days working on some arrow heads when he
starts yelling in the front yard, "Deer, there's deer everywhere!" Everyone jumped
up to see what the fuss was about, and David was standing in the middle of the front
yard pointing toward the road, still shouting, "Deer, look at them!"
There was nothing there, but David.
